Fanie Bekker (19**-). Actor.

Biography

He grew up in Beaufort West. He is married to actress and director Estelle Bekker (Estelle Pentz) and father of performer and musician Adrian Bekker.

Appearances on stage include Absolom, my Seun!, Die Nagtegaal, Ampie II, Helshoogte (1943), Geleende Vere (1944) with Die André Huguenet Geselskap; Germanicus (NTO/BAT 1957), Die Loodswaaiers (KRUIK 1966), Die Dame met die Kamelias (KRUIK 1966), Cyrano de Bergerac (KRUIK 1969), 'n Skip is Ons Beloof (KRUIK 1969), 'n Wingerdstok sal Rank (1971), Stilte Asseblief (BAT 1972), Vergelegen (KRUIK 1974), Twaalfde Nag (KRUIK 1975).

In 1947 he was stage manager for Liefde in Satyn.

He assisted in directing Klatergoud (1966).

He had roles in the films Die Spook van Donkergat (film) and Tant Ralie se Losieshuis (1974).
