Fallen Angels is a play by Noël Coward (1899-1973)[1]

The original text

Written in 1923, the play opened at the Globe Theatre, London, on 21 April 1925 and ran until 29 August. It deals with the story of two wives admitting to premarital sex and contemplating adultery, a theme that initially led to problems with the Lord Chamberlain's office.

It was also performed in the Amsterdam Municipal Theatre in 1926 (but banned after a few performances), on Broadway in 1927,

Translations and adaptations

Translated into French as Le Printemps de Saint-Martin, it was performed in Paris in 1928 and again in 1945.
