Became a professional actress in 1942 working for the companies of Anton Ackerman and Johan Fourie. She joined the NTO in 1948.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
She had roles in Verlore Siele and Kom Ons Gaan Blomme Pluk... for the Johan Fourie-toneelgeselskap and for NTO Nag het die Wind Gebring (as Linde), Oupa Brompie.
