Training

He graduated from Wits with a B.A. Hons.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He performed in Electra (as “Orestes”), The Cherry Orchard (as “Lopakhin”), Hay Fever (as “David Bliss”) and in Savages (as “Colonel B”).

He worked at The Space in the 1970s, acting in The Arnold Bliss Show, The Disguise of the Ashes that arose out of the Karnaval at Scarborough to prove that Leonardo was Right - an investigation of guilt, The Duchess of Malfi, The Guise, Hitting Town and The Resistable Rise of Arturo UI.

He played the name role in Chinchilla, 1980.

He starred in Athol Fugard’s Master Harold … and the Boys together with Ramolao Makhene and John Kani with direction by Fugard who was assisted by Suzanne Shepherd at the Market Theatre in March 1983 and subsequently at the Baxter Theatre.

He played Donalbain in the SATV production of Macbeth.
