Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei is an Afrikaans radio soap opera written by Jan Schutte.

Broadcast by the Afrikaans Service of the SABC in the 1950s.

The title and form of this series was satirically used by Pieter-Dirk Uys as a vehicle for his hugely popular and biting political satire Die Van Aardes van Grootoor (1975).

Published in two volumes by Tafelberg Uitgewers, as Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei 1 (1960) and Die Du Plooys van Soetmelksvlei 2 (1963).
