Die Dans van die Reier (“The Dance of the ***”) Translation of De dans van de reiger by Hugo Claus (1929-2008) into Afrikaans by Wilma Stockenström. Full-length. DALRO.
Produced by PACT, opening on 4 September 1968 in the Breytenbach Theatre, with Louis van Niekerk (Edward Missaen), Wilna Snyman and Louw Verwey in the lead roles. The cast also included Anna Cloete, James Norval, Stephan Bouwer. Directed by Francois Swart. Set designed by David MacKenzie.
