Contact Five by Lewis Sowden. Written and performed in 1945 by the Johannesburg Operatic and Dramatic Society at the Library Theatre. It was also their entry in the 1945 FATSSA Play Festival.

Set in Holland, it centres on an indomitable family which has been chosen by the German commander of the occupied district, to provide him with certain home comforts. The manuscript of the text is in the CESAT files (no 556/88) in the National Film and Video Archives, Pretoria.
