She grew up in Pinelands, Cape Town.

Studied drama at the University of Cape Town.

She has appeared on stage in i.a.Die Koup, Jy Ms Allaaiens Kompetiaie - 'n Kabaret? in 1992, Two Gentlemen of Verona (Maynardville, 1993), Macbeth (Maynardville 2004), Twelfth Night (Maynardville, 2006, The Importance of Being Earnest, Shopping and Fucking, Trumpets and Raspberries, 'Uncle Vanya, Antony and Cleopatra, The Yellow Wallpaper (2015).

Awards, etc

Winner of the Fleur du Cap Theatre Award for Most Promising Student, 1991 in Die Hoenderhok War.

IGI Life Vita Award (Cape) for her rol as Cecily Cardew in The Importance of Being Earnest (best supporting actress, 1993).

Twelfth Night (Maynardville, 2006 – Fleur du Cap Award for best supporting actress.

In 2008 she shared the Fleur du Cap for the best performance in the category revue or cabaret with Godfrey Johnson for their performance in Kissed by Brel.
