There are two people by this name who have worked in the performance field in South Africa:

Christa Steyn (1958-2012), pianist, composer and singer

Biography

She passed away in June 2012 after a long battle with cancer.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Accompanist and stage partner of Jannie du Toit for a period of 25 years.

Biography

Studied at the University of the Free State, completing a Masters degree.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

She studied the archiving of Afrikaans language films in South Africa, completing a thesis entitled Die argivering van die Afrikaanse film (1916 – 2014). (Unpublished MA thesis, University of the Free State, 2015)[1]
