C.F. Mijnhardt (also known as C.F. Mynhardt, 19**-) was a minister of religion and translator.

Biography

C.F. Mijnhardt was the father of Siegfried Mynhardt

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

He translated a number of plays into Afrikaans for the André Huguenet company. These included The Stranger Within by Crane Wilbur as As Mure Kan Praat ("If the walls could talk" - 193*), Wuthering Heights by Emily Brönte as Helshoogte ("Hell's Heights" - 194*). He also translated Ladies in Retirement entitled Die Rooi Pruik.
