Adapted by Friedrich Gustav Hagemann and translated into Dutch by Willem van Dinsen, Jr.; Published by Johannes Christoffel van Kesteren, Amsterdam, 1819.

Performance history in South Africa

1847: Produced in Dutch on 7 September in the African Theatre, Cape Town by the joint company Tot Nut en Vermaak en Door Yver Vruchtbaar, as afterpiece to Gustavus, of De Zweedsche Mynwerkers (Lamartelière). (F.C.L. Bosman, 1928, has the latter title in Afrikaans format, as Gustavus, of De Zweedsche Mynwerkers.)
