Alyzzander Fourie (1967- ). South African actor and director.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

Best known for his role as Lennox in the SABC2 television mini-series Malan en Kie (2008). Other television roles include: Hans Erlank (in Amalia); Renier's Father (in Erfsondes); Superintendent Karel Lubbe (in Plek van die Vleisvreters). Feature films he has appeared in include: Merlin: The Return (1999); Glory Glory (2000); Mr. Bones (2001).

Appearances on stage include Ek, Anna van Wyk (1999), Mamma Medea (2002), Wetters 2004, Die Seemeeu (2015).

In 2000 he was the co-author of the Afrikaans musical drama Antjie Somers and in 2008 his play Marthat Ruk was staged at Aardklop.

He directed Die Lewe is Alleen Draaglik as ‘n Mens ‘n Bietjie Dronk is at Aardklop 2000.

Alyzzander writes plays and operettas for children, e.g. Muisneste, Doringrosie and Ma’s is Gemaak Van Feëtjiestof.
