by Bertha Goudvis. A one-act play, it was first presented as part of a triple-bill at the Standard Theatre in 1925. Set in 1900 during the Anglo-Boer war, the play is about an Afrikaans girl who is in love with a British soldier. First published in the collection The Way the Money Goes and Other Plays (Sterling Printing Company, 1925).
