Kim Louis

LOUIS, Kim (19**- ) is a South African singer and actress.

Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance

While in high school she was cast in the musical Poison, which was staged in Cape Town, Port Elizabeth and Kuala Lumpur (1994-1996). After studying at the University of Cape Town Drama Department she played a lead role in the musical Klop Klop in the Baxter Theatre (1997). In 1997 she was cast in Kat and the Kings (Baxter Theatre Centre, Tricycle Theatre, London, Cort Theatre on Broadway, New York; 1997, 1999, 2000). Other work includes Tribute to Carol King (Milnerton Playhouse; 2004) and Langarm (Fugard Theatre; 2018).
