Born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) where he died in the late 1970s.

Training
Career
After his return from the Royal Ballet he worked with both PACT and CAPAB ballet companies and eventually ran the Gary Burne Dance Theatre.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
He was the choreographer for a PACT production of Ring Round the Moon in 1964. He produced and choreographed The Family at the Space Theatre, 1975.
