THORNDIKE, Daniel (19**- ). British actor and theatre director. Visited South Africa the first time with the Old Vic Company in 1952, appearing in Othello, A Midsummer Night's Dream and Macbeth. Directed Canterbury Tales for the JODS in 1970.
