Keith Smith
Keith Smith (19**-) is a South African ice skater; dancer, singer and actor for theatre, television and film; and a co-director of the theatre company People's Theatre.

Biography
Career in South Africa
He began his performance career as an ice-skater, being selected to skate in the Junior World Olympics.
As dancer/singer
His skating experience led to an interest in dancing and singing, with his professional career taking off when he appeared in They’re Playing Our Song and Hello Dolly for Brickhill-Burke, this interest leading to a stint in Las Vegas as the lead male vocalist in A Touch Of Vegas. Other shows over the years include Come To The Sun (a record run of 18 months at Sun City), A Touch Of Webber And A Taste Of Rice, Romance Romance, When Movies were Movies, Miss World Pageant 1996, Bridadoon, Forever Plaid, Absolutely Fabulously Broadway (1 & 2), Aspects of Love (2009)
As stage director
As director he has annually directed productions both at People's Theatre, of which he is a co-director, with Jill Girard, and at the Emperor's Palace.
Television
On his return from Las Vegas he became a co-host on the TV show Telly-Fun-Quiz and presenter of several seasons of Your Own Business for the SABC. He has continued working in the medium, inter alia playing "Grant Forbes" in the popular soap Egoli.
Awards
He won the SABC/ATKV Best Male Vocalist award in 1977.
