Translated into Dutch as De Nachtwacht inter alia by Salomon Deventer (published in 1844); by G. de Vos (in 1852).
Performance history in South Africa
1825: Performed in Dutch as a two-act comedy in Cape Town by the children's company Tot Oefening en Smaakon 10 September, probably translated from the German and directed by Joseph Suasso de Lima.
