DAVIDTZ, Embeth. (19*-) Actress. Received an Honours degree from Rhodes University, spent six months with CAPAB, one year with PACT. She starred in Romeo and Juliet at Maynardville in 1987. She starred in Deon Opperman’s Stille Nag at the Adcock-Ingram Theatre in 1989. She starred in Reza de Wet’s A Worm in the Bud in 1990. She starred in Ilse van Hemert’s production of Chekhov’s The Seagull at the Adcock-Ingram in 1990. For her role in Houd-den-Bek, she received a DALRO award.

Nominee 1991 Davidtz, Embeth in `Houd-den-bek' (Esther Roos Award for best actress in a supporting role in Afrikaans);

    • She went on to to perform in Hollywood movies and television.
