Produced in English (as Romeo and Jeanette, translated by Miriam John) by NTO in 1960, directed by Suzanne van Wyk, starring Ria Olivier and Robert Mohr in the Bellville Civic Centre, and by PACT in 1963 (directed by Richard Daneel, starring Fiona Fraser, Bess Finney, Arthur Hall, Siegfried Mynhardt and others).
