("The Christmas of Map Jacobs" - Afrikaans) by Adam Small. Set in the Cape Flats in the seventies, during the forced removals, it tells the story of the gangleader Map Jacobs who comes out of jail on parole, and the impact on the community to which he returns. Commissiponed by PACOFS under the Nederburg Incentive Scheme ??** and first performed by PACOFS in Bloemfontein in 1979, directed by Sandra Kotzé, with Nico Liebenberg and Antoinette Kellermann. PACT, September 1982, State Theatre and Alexander Theatre, directed by Louis van Niekerk, with Leslie Fong (as Map Jacobs), William Abdul, Anthony Wilson and others. Also performed by the Cape Flats Players in the late seventies and early eighties and by the Robertson Drama Group at the Kellerprinz-Drama festival in 1986. Other productions include the Suidoosterfees ( 2006, with Christo Davids), ( Directed by André Stolz with with David Johnson, Sindi Sampson, Leslie Fong, Irvine van der Merwe, Chrystal-Donna Roberts, Merlin Balie, Revano Michael Singh and Bradley Olivier.
