In the 1979 romantic comedy Talley’s Folly, American playwright Lanford Wilson uses the charming (if creaky) “odd couple” formula to discuss history and class. Performed in the Baxter Theatre in 1983, directed by Bobby Heaney for the Market Theatre Company. Cast: Anthony Fridjhon, Dorothy-Ann Gould. See also Fifth of July.
