The Skin of our Teeth (1942) by American playwright Thornton Wilder (1897-1975). It is the story of Mr and Mrs Antrobus and Lily Sabina, the maid, which seeks to put the entire history of mankind into a single dramatic framework. First performed in New York in 1943. Published by Longmans, 1958.

Presented by the Speech-Training Department of the University of Cape Town, produced by Rosalie van der Gucht in the Little Theatre, 1946. With Oswald van Blerk, Joyce Grant, Sybil Dee, Michael Marais, Hazel Casson, Ilse Hilsenrath. Animals by A.J.H. Goodwin.
