The Skin of our Teeth (1942) is a play by American playwright Thornton Wilder (1897-1975) . It is the story of Mr and Mrs Antrobus and Lily Sabina, the maid, which seeks to put the entire history of mankind into a single dramatic framework. First performed in New York in 1943. Published by Longmans, 1958.
