An act performed by the Automata of W.F.H. Parker. Possibly their version of the classic comedy riding act called Billy Buttons or the Tailors Ride to Brentford, originally created by circus owner Philip Astley. ("Joey Grimaldi" referring to the famous English clown Joseph Grimaldi.)
Performance history in South Africa
Brought to in Cape Town by W.F.H. Parker in 1837, when it was performed along with Polander, the dramatic play The Enchanted Turk and Children in the Wood (Th. Morton).
