("Mother Hanna") by Bartho Smit. A play about a mother and her mensfolk in the Anglo Boer war. First produced by NTO in its NTO Kamertoneel in 1959, directed by Smit himself, with Milla Louw as Moeder Hanna, Johan Malherbe as Ouboeta, Jan Bruyns as Bart Harmse and Lynette Kotzé as the daughter. Meisies van Vervloë Jare. Moeder Hanna (Bartho Smit) Milla Louw, Jan Bruyns, Lynette Kotze, Siegfried Mynhardt. In Bellville – Moeder Hanna met: Babs Laker, Leonora Nel, Jan v Zyl, Cobus Rossouw & Matthys du Toit. Kamertoneel het ook aan 5 dramastudente kans gebied om die hoofstadgehore te vermaak in Pta. Performed as a double bill with Meisies van Vervloë Jare (Bartho Smit) WERK HIERDIE EEN UIT. Published in Standpunte, 10(3):3-30. Jan 1956 and by Afr. Pers-Boekhandel.

Performed by CAPAB in 1970 on the cancellation of Putsonderwater as a double bill with an Afrikaans version of Chekov's The Proposal.
