Miss Margarida's Way is a satirical play written by Brazil's Roberto Athayde. The play is set in what looks like a school classroom. The play's cast typically consists of only two people: Miss Margarida, a school teacher, and a male student. This "student" often sits among the audience members, whom the "teacher" addresses and treats as if they were real school children. (Source: Wikipedia).
In South Africa a Baxter Theatre production in 1981 was directed by Robin Sanders, starring Michelle du Toit. (Source: Barrow, Brian & Williams-Short, Yvonne (eds.). 1988. Theatre Alive! The Baxter Story 1977-1987).
