J.G. de Villiers

(17**-18**) Amateur actor, dancer and possibly director. Born in the Cape, he was a staunch member of Tot Nut en Vermaak. In 1823 he acted as Toneelmeester (ie. director) on behalf of J.G. Tredoux, the leader and usual director for the company. He possibly appeared as dancer for Honi Soit qui Mal y Pense in De Burger Edelman (28th May 1825), under the name J. de Villiers.
