LINDEQUE, M.C.E. (19*-9*) *** and actor. *** Studied at the Grey University College in Bloemfontein and was a member of and actor for the GUK Toneelvereniging in the late early 1920s, He played "Van Bloemberg" in their 1920 production of Die Koerantskrywers. * He married Miss R. Steynberg of Graaff-Reinet (a protegé of P.C.H. Pohl) and they settled in Harrismith, where they for years contributed to Afrikaans theatre, notably by producing most of D.F. Malherbe's plays there. *
