Dancing Out of Cancer is an initiative of the pioneering South African dance icon, choreographer, and cancer survivor Nomsa Manaka.

The project

The project aims at awakening awareness and education by inspiring people to take charge of their health through movement and community engagement. To this end the initiative organizes an annual Dancing Out of Cancer Festival, which serves as a platform for awareness and education, inspiring others to take charge of their health through movement and community engagement.
