Noddy

Noddy is a fictional character created by English children's author Enid Blyton (1897-1968). He is depicted as a wooden toy with a childlike view of the world.

Translations and adaptations

A number of theatrical productions have been created based on Blyton's characters and books.

There was a radio serial adaptation broadcast on SABC in 1963.

Performance history in South Africa

1988: Produced by Children's Theatre Productions at the Intimate Theatre, Johannesburg, directed by Jill Girard and Joyce Levinsohn.
