Dingetjie is Dynamite! is a film by Ivan Hall (1935 – 2008)

Alternatively also known as My Naam Is Nog Steeds Dingetjie, or as Dingetjie Is Dynamite! (My Naam Is Nog Steeds Dingetjie).

The film

Referred to as a "Boerewors-western", it is the second in the "Dingetjie" series of comedies, inspired by the Terence Hill and Bud Spencer "spaghetti westerns". Set in the 1930's, it tells of a gang that has been terrorizing the locals, who are confronted by Dingetjie and Daan, two mismatched brothers who are employed by a local matriarch to guard her cattle.

Written by C.F. Beyers-Boshoff and directed by Ivan Hall with Wena Naudé (as "Ouma Hessie"), Don Leonard (as "Daan van der Merwe"), Roelf Laubscher (as "Dingetjie van der Merwe"), Hal Orlandini (as the villain "Zane"]]. The rest of the cast consisted of Doug Watson (Douglas Watson), Jimmy Rayson, Roberta Durrant, Alexandra Bungey, Manie Botha, Friedrich Stark, Cedric Sundstrom and Jannie Wienand.

The film was produced by Ben Vlok for , with music by Zane Cronjé, cinematography by Manie Botha, editing by Brian Varaday,
