Tankiso Mamabolo is a South African singer, songwriter, actor and playwright.


Biography

After graduating from the University of Cape Town drama department in 2015, she began a successful career in theatre.


As a performer she has appeared in various musical theatre productions, including Aunty Merle The Musical by Marc Lottering which gained her Naledi and Fleur du Cap theatre award nominations for best supporting actress in a musical.

As a playwright she co-created The Fall, a piece that went on to tour internationally, receiving awards at the Edinburgh International Theatre Festival as well as being put on the New York Times critics choice list.
