Mary and the Conqueror

Mary and the Conqueror is a play by Juliet Jenken.

Commissioned for production at the seventh Artscape Spring Drama Season, it is play about a chance meeting between an author (Mary Renault) and her subject (Alexander the Great).

2011: at the seventh Artscape Spring Drama Season, it was first performed on 29 and 30 September (in pre-view), then ran from 1 to 15 October. Directed by Roy Sergeant with Diane Wilson, Adrienne Pearce, Armand Aucamp and Francis Chouler. Design by Alfred Rietmann, sound design by Lynley Pillay.

2012 Performed at Artscape in July as part of the Artscape New Writing Programme 2011 presentations.
