Mark Twain performed his At Home there in June 1896. ****
In the late 1960s and 1970, the venue was used for amateur performances by the Queenstown Theatrical Society. Productions included Guys and Dolls
On June 16, 1984, The Gingerbread Lady, produced by Helen Mann was also staged at this venue.
In 1996 it was still being used as a theatre, inter alia by the Round Table for their annual Melodrama – fundraiser
