Christo Niehaus
Christo Niehaus (circa 1972 - 2024) was an Afrikaans film actor and technician.

Biography
At the age of 16 he won a film editing competition and after finishing his military service went to the USA where he did a fine arts degree in film.
As his acting career ended he became a drone pilot and for the last few years a housing agent.
He passed away in his sleep in Dullstroom, Mpumalanga in June, 2024, leaving a father, sister and a daughter, Jaelyn Visser.

He began his film acting career as a youngster of 12, appearing in TV series like Sien Jou Nou!, Die Swart Kat, Koöperasiestories, and in prominent films such as Dada en die Flower, Circles in a Forest,
He later worked behind the scenes on various film projects, including Stilte, Little Kings,
