Ulibambe Lingashoni / Hold Up the Sun is the name given to an English language documentary film] and to a five part video documentary series.

Not to be confused with the 1995n stage play called Hold Up the Sun by Julian Seleke Mokoto

The film

Ulibambe Lingashoni / Hold Up the Sun]] by Brian Tilley, Clarence Hamilton, Laurence Dworkin, Lesley Lawson amd Mokonenyana Molete is a 104 minute long film that presents a comprehensive film history of the African National Congress (ANC) and its decades-long struggle to end Apartheid in South Africa. Shown at the African Festival Festival in New York, 1992.

It is also available as a 265 minute long five part video documentary series, and like the film tracing the history of the ANC from 1912 to 1990 using historical and contemporary footage and photographs and many interviews. Produced by Lawrence Dworkin for Afravision, series directed by Jeremy Nathan released 1993.
