The Recce is a film by
Also known as Recce. The title is taken from the word used in the South African bush war of the 1970s-1980s to refer to someone sent out on reconnaissance.
The film
Set in 1981, it tells of a recce, Henk Viljoen, wrongfully declared killed in action behind enemy lines on the Anglolan front and abandoned by his superiors. So his life becomes a race against all odds to survive, withs his mental and physical abilities tried to their limits as he navigates his way through the war zone to make his way home.
