That's No Lady, That's My Husband is a comedy by Tony Lesser (fl. 1970s)[1]

The original text
A comedy dealing with the reversal of roles between husband and wife, it was by produced and first performed at the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford, followed by the Ashcroft Theatre, Croydon, and other locations (22nd August – 14th October 1972). In 1973 it was also done at the Theatre Royal, Brighton, the New Theatre, Hull, and other locations (19th February – 31st March).
Translations and adaptations
In 1974 the play was revised and renamed The Bedwinner, and again produced by Ray Cooney Productions, opening at Theatre Royal, Norwich (29th July – 3rd August 1974), and going on to the Grand Theatre, Wolverhampton (5th – 10th August 1974), the Cambridge Arts Theatre (19th – 24th August 1974), the Theatre Royal, Nottingham (26th – 31st August 1974) and the Royalty Theatre, Kingsway, London (3rd September – 5th October 1974).
Performance history in South Africa
197*: The Bedwinner performed at the Hofmeyr Theatre, Cape Town. The cast included Maralin Vanrenen.
