Scarborough by Donald Howarth. *** The author directed and designed the first production Upstairs at The Space (Cape Town) in 197* with Jack Klaff, Peter Piccolo and Jacqui Singer. Lighting by Brian Astbury, stage management by Donald Fuller and Frank Perkins. Because of nude scenes, the play received a banning notice after its third night, but the Censors never arrived.
