The original text
A tribute to the cabaret work of award-winning Afrikaans author Hennie Aucamp, this is a collation of 29 of Aucamp's rich trove of satirical monologues and songs. The text was originally compiled by Mark Graham and Herman Pretorius, for presentation at a special symposium on cabaret arranged by the Stellenbosch Drama Department in February 1994 in recognition of Aucamp's contribution to the development of the Afrikaans kabaret as form and South African cabaret in general.
The text has not been published, but typed copies of the text are held in various archival collections.
