Lanon Prigge (19**-). Actor, dancer.


He studied at the Rhodes University from 1991 to 1995, completing a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, with specialization in television and film studies in 1994 and following this up with an Honours degree in Drama, specializing in choreography and dance, scriptwriting and physical theatre in 1995.

He then entered the profession to work as a freelance performer, director, writer and educator. At the start of the new millenium he launched his own company, Poetry in Motion Pictures, specializing in music and dance videos.

He is married to dancer, lecturer and choreographer Samantha Pienaar.

As a student he had roles in The Lover (Pinter), Close to Home, Hamlet, They Shoot Horses, Don't They,

He performed in The Unspeakable Story, Mallemeulewals (1998), The Life and Times of Johnny Cockroach (1999),

He was a member of the First Physical Theatre Company and was a co-founder of the Physical Joint Company.

He wrote and directed The Lounge: Place of Anticipation, he wrote T'angkupa
