Lot is part of an award-winning trilogy of site specific plays by Nicola Hanekom.

The other two plays are Betésda and Babbel. The trilogy was designed to be staged in an open field across from the train station in Oudtshoorn.

Translations and adaptations

Performance history in South Africa

2011: It was first performed at the KKNK, directed by Hanekom, with Stian Bam, Neels van Jaarsveld, Tinarie van Wyk Loots, Brendon Daniels, Lerato Motshwarakgole and Jacques Theron.

2012: The same production was later staged by the State Theatre at a site in Frans Odendaal Street, Pretoria.
