Olive Schreiner (1855–1920) [1] was a South African author, anti-war campaigner and intellectual. She is best remembered today for her highly acclaimed 1883 novel The Story of an African Farm [2].

André Brink adapted her novel into a play under the same title, The Story of an African Farm.

A number of plays and films have been made about Schreiner's own life and works, these include:

Schreiner: A One Woman Play by Stephen Gray (1983) Also billed simply as Schreiner in some cases.

The Heaven Hunter by Gay Morris (1991)
