C.J. Littlewort (fl 1850s-1960s) was a Cape Town surgeon-dentist and amateur musician.

Biography

Contribution to South African theatre and performance

He was well known for his role as a leading amateur musician and in 1860 he converted the Union Chapel on Church Square, Cape Town, into a venue amateur events, notably musical concerts, etc., which he named the New Music Hall.
