Biography
He seems to have been a Cape Town resident and amateur singer and performer. Particularly mention as being adept at "character singing", inter alia singing as "Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte" as part of an evening's entertainment put on by the Le Roy company on 14 May 1868. The programme also consisted of The Lady and the Devil (Clarence), act 3 of The Octoroon (Boucicault) and A Comical Countess (Brough). No doubt he also performed in the musical pieces as well.
Contribution to SA theatre, film, media and/or performance
