Het Zuid-Afrikaansche Tijdschrift

Het Zuid-Afrikaansche Tijdschrift (1873-1893) was a Dutch language journal in South Africa.

A revival of the original Nederlandsche Zuid-Afrikaansche Tidschrift, the new journal was the mouthpiece of the Zuid-Afrikaansche Taalbond, championing Cape Dutch) as a language for the country, and the journal was intended to help to preserve the language and promote reading.

Founded and edited by "Onze Jan" (J.H. Hofmeyr (1845-19).

The editorial team and contributors included J.W.G. van Oordt, J. van der Tuuk (editor after 1890), Hubertus Elffers
