Chess is a musical play with lyrics by Tim Rice and music by Bjorn llvaeus en Benny Andersson.

Perofrmnace history in South Africa

2008: Presented at Montecasino Theatre, directed by Paul Warwick Griffin with musical direction by Louis Zurnamer, starring Cito, Brennan Holder, Gina Shmukler (Florence Vassy), (Anne-Marie Clulow (Svetlana), James Borthwick, Johan Baird, David Chevers. Decor by Illka Louw, lighting by Jannie Swanepoel, choreogrphy by David Gouldie. Musical adaptations by Charl-Johan Lingenfelder, sound design by Mark Malherbe.
