The Strange Case of Hester Cilliers
The Strange Case of Hester Cilliers is a play by Paul Spence. It is a lurid tale of murder most foul in Johannesburg at the turn of the century. The setting is Randlord Henry Beaufort's mansion.
The play was performed at the Foxwood Theatre in June 2006. The director was Clive Rodel and the players were the author and Annie Robinson, both in various roles. Costumes and decor by Lisa Perry. This production was also seen at the Hilton Arts Festival, 2009.
