Opened by actors Paul Buckby and Clive Rodel and the owner Jan Groenewald in the grounds of a heritage home The Villa (Burra-Burra) at Foxwood House, in 2004.

Some of the productions have been Dinner for One (2008), 'n Tyd om Lief te Hê (2009), Rose Red by Pieter Bosch Botha (2010), Rapid Fire Fairy Tales with story teller, poet, percussionist Gavin Bonner (2011), An Audience with Miss Hobhouse (2013).
